Cancer Article Input
Hi Y'all,
I'm writing a piece for Spry Magazine tentatively entitled: "Five Things NOT to Say to Someone Who Has Cancer."
The classic example is: "Well, they say if you're gonna get a cancer, that's the one you want." To which I reply: "Exactly. And if you're gonna be hit by a bus, make sure it's a Greyhound. I heard they have very soft under carriages!" ;-)
I'd love to hear some funny things you've heard from people that made you scratch your head and think, "What the hell were they thinking saying something like that to someone like me at a time like this?"
The article is going to be light-hearted, so please keep that in mind with your examples.
