We've all been there. First we are the ultimate cheerleaders. Keeping our spouses encouraged and upbeat about their current treatment. We think all is going well. But what we don't see, can't see or don't want to see is that our spouse(the one whose…

About Me:
I'm a caregiver for my husband, 52, who was diagnosed at age 47 in July '05 with Stage IV cc w/ liver mets. He currently has a recurrence in his liver and we are seeking further treatment/trials. He has been through folfox and folfiri and progressed on both. He has had stereotactic radiotherpy, had 1 year NED post and now has 3 inoperable tumors, again, in his liver. No activity anywhere else. He's so healthy and feels very well. He says that if he hadn't had a CT scan he would never know that there was anything wrong with him. I am also a nurse so I do all of the research, finding doctors for opinions etc. I rely heavily on my on-line colon cancer community for answers, suggestions and so much support. I'm happy to be part of this group.

We don't have that here, sirspheres, but the liver cancer is all in one area so they think it should be easy to remove. Hope so, its a big thing. Love to you both,
Helena.

“AJ, I'm buying the first 100 for my ministry with the team. This is an excellent resource -- clear, applicable, well written! You and Vera have written one of the most significant and useful devotionals I've seen in a long time. Ravens players and coaches will love this tool for training camp! I'm excited to see it go to print and I'm honored to be a friend of one of the co-authors, a true champion indeed.”
