About Me:
After surviving Stage III colon cancer at age 46, I became a yoga teacher; now I teach cancer survivors and do what I can to spread the word of prevention, early intervention and cancer advocating- including wellness with yoga!

My friend Suzanne Lindley is my guiding light and God
has allowed us to be friends more than five years now!

I have another 'six months'...but, thyroid is 'off'....going Tuesday ...hope that it is 'an easy fix'; next to cancer, most things are.

Thinking of all that have gotten the news that cancer has returned, and angry that there's isn't yet a cure. Too much suffering .

In this weekend of rebirth, I renew my efforts to advocate!

Monday is my 'check up' day with oncology, we all know how that feels.
Try as I might, it's a great spiritual challenge to stay in surrender and keep my mind in the moment.

My family are all getting checked too! That's what I'm all about now, spreading the word.....about spreading other things. Shining the light on a problem too long in the dark. And making lots of very bad jokes. I DO believe we have to get all the nervous giggles out of the way before we can talk seriously about this.
