AJ & I flew into Denver from BWI on Friday evening. Our plane was delayed and we sat on the runway for about 1 1/2 hours. Finally took off and got to Denver around 5:30. We had a dinner we were attending with Suzanne and crew. It was great to see everyone - Suzanne, Ronnie, Ron, Jenifer, Becky, Tammy, Melissa, Jean and all our other great friends. Dinner was going fine and suddendly I felt realy sick before I knew it I was passed out on the floor. With AJ, Jennifer, Becky and Dr. Kennedy looking over me. I had no idea where I was and what I was going on the floor.
Paramedics came and took me to ER. Came down to I was dehydrated. ER ran tests and everything came back normal, thank God. After spending a few hours at the ER Ronnie & Suzanne picked AJ & I up and took us back to the hotel.
We got up the next morning, I was a little sore - hit my chin, neck, nose is brusied along with a mark on my forhead and eye. But hey I'm ready to get to the symposium and see everyone and listen to the wonderful speakers.
AJ & I spoke at 10:45 went well. We watched the video last night it was good. The best thing was seeing everyone and connecing with so many survivors. AJ intervied survivors for our 200 Miracles Documentary. It was great to hear all their stories and they will be posted online very soon.
We got to the airport to fly to LA and our flight was delayed again. We were supposed to take off at 7:20 and now we were leaving at 10:50. Sat down with a book and AJ started working on his computer. Made it into LA and drove to our friend Kathy's. Nice to be near the ocean. I missed it.
We took a long walk last night and the ocean breeze felt so good. It was cool and nothing like Maryland weather. We were wearing sweatshirs and it is August. I hope to go swimming this week I love swimming in the ocean. Being near the ocean just makes me feel so energized. I missed it.

Jane and AJ,

I can't thank you enough for coming to the Symposium, inspiring the crowd, and including all the survivors in your video. I'm just glad that you were ok on Friday night! What a scare you gave us all!! I'm happy you are back to enjoying the ocean and the sunset. Hope to see you both soon.

Love,
Suzanne

“AJ, I'm buying the first 100 for my ministry with the team. This is an excellent resource -- clear, applicable, well written! You and Vera have written one of the most significant and useful devotionals I've seen in a long time. Ravens players and coaches will love this tool for training camp! I'm excited to see it go to print and I'm honored to be a friend of one of the co-authors, a true champion indeed.”
